This sounds like a serious problem with a person who is not going to go away with out a real deterent. Look up your local police department non emergency number and talk to a public information officer; find out about stalker laws in your jurisdiction then file a report each and every time this person contacts you in anyway. They can advise you about fileing a restraining order which I would strongly recommend you do. The longer you let this continue the less likely the court systems or the police are going to believe that you don't like the attention and this is an serious problem. Women of all ages are stalked and killed or horribly injured in this country everyday so it is. No means NO but you have to make it a clear No with no sympathy or waffleing on your part. They may also suggest you send him a copy of a notorized letter by signature United Statesmail saying " Stay away. Do not contact me. your full legal name. " That is all it has and should say. Keep your copy. Most of the time this will shut most guys down but you should also make efforts to protect yourself. Your local women's shelter can advise you there. Contact the customer service department of the phone carrier you are with and ask them to monitor your number and or block him from calling. They are required by law to assist you. If this jerk is getting an unlisted number and calling after two years I would consider him a serious mental health patient or criminal or both. I would stop talking about it on line because if he has your number there is a good chance he also is following your on-line activity and is getting off on the stress. Another good reason to keep your photo's off the computer. Get an aswering machine from Wally world and screen all calls and records all messages before answering. If you get any hang ups or calls do not try to re-record them; take the original machine to the police or have the police come to you, document the call, and remove the message. If your local police department phoo phoo this situation call your state police. Don't kid yourself if this kook kills you they will be involved in the homicide investigation so they would rather stop him now. ****Note to those who give home phone numbers you are never just giving some one your phone number when you do you give them your address and customer history and anything else that as little as $20 can buy from a search engine. Be cyber safe.
