Have you ever went out on a date and as soon as the person spoke you
knew it was wrong, in my situation I'm trying to keep a positive outlook
but it is not looking to great.

Nervousness sets in a person when thee almighty Emotional Mind Cluster
Fuck sets in good people...

Just have fun and stop thinking of your dating partner as some
interviewee to set YOUR standards...geeesh...stop thinking it's just a
date and just have fun with that other persons good company!! ^_^

On a blind date I had once, the evening was going great, until a lul in
the conversation, at that time the guy started telling off color jokes
that he thought was funny. I couldn't wait to get back to my car.

Dramafree, I've got to ask ya? Unless the first word was bitch
HOW did ya think (or know) that he was wrong?
I mean damm girl that's some positive-negitve thoughts ain't it?
The first word is what ya said, and im like wow, I HOPE a date would
come to THAT conclusion after maybe an hour or two?
Do all you ladies think THAT fast?
I have not had a bad date yet? I mean like where she would be all stiff
and tight liped and distant from me?
I hope a lady would give me a longer look or listen than a small silly
thing that might have hit her wrong?

Then u lucky, count your blessing. Not everybody has it like that.
Sometime on the phone is nice and dandy, but when u get to meet that
person is a whole different story.

In most cases I would tend to agree with the majority of the
ladys...trust your first inpression...but a couple of things to keep in
mind.
A first date?...Everyone is nervouse...dosen't matter how long you've
been chatting..emailing..whatever, it's still gonna be awkward.
Second...
Most people that first meet me get the wrong impression of who I
am...untill they get to know me...in person...not on this internet
sight.

it's all that subconscious stuff. experts say that you 'size someone up'
within seconds of meeting. This is big in the dating world because you
want that chemistry. the way i figure you've got three options. one, you
could just call it off right then and there. two, you can go through w/
the date and think of it as a waste of time, or three, you can just
enjoy it and make it enjoyable. of course, if the other is a plan out
asshole or bitch then leave. I've met people that were mean, but after a
few minutes of charm they were as nice as ever. people will feed off of
your subconscious body language so be careful.

i'm not much on first impressions and i have seen too many instances
where the first impression was wrong. i don't get that feeling right
away but even if it is not going well in the beginning i will still give
it a chance. i have had dates turn around later in the evening and it
happens all the time but both parties have to be willing. if you get
that feeling when you first meet and you aren't the type of person that
can still have a good time and give it a chance then the date will suck
for everyone. i usually at least wait til the end of the night, you
should be able to tell after an hour of talking and an activity if you
would like to see them again.
