I dont like guns, so dont ask me

but seems like if there are three people with guns,, two approaching one,,

do they all wait to be the one who gets shot? what is the proper etiquette in that situation?

I guess the proper etiquette is two of the three are legally carrying guns and one is a felon carrying an illegal stolen gun. Their purposes for being on there are not quite the same.

you dont understand my question

things like criminal history or legality of a weapon aren't marked on a persons forehead

so,, if one has a gun and is approached by two others with guns,, ,, who waits to be shot and who shoots first?

way to many variables to get a "correct" answer... every situation is different

I don't understand your question because it is not sensible.
so,,, the thug knew the two others had weapons? How do you know?
I'm sure they knew him.

thats why i think NY should stop the whole "stop and frink" stuff. they stopped the guy because they saw him adjusting his waist band or something like that. since when does someone adjusting their waist band justify a police officer to stop and question someone? note: I AM NOT ADVOCATING THAT THIS COP WAS BAD AND AM NOT BASHING THIS COP. that being said if the NY police didnt constantly stop people for very petty reasons, this cop would still be alive. i know the guy had an illegal gun and was carrying it illegally so no i am not advocating that this guy wasnt a scumbag. but i do feel NY abuses the whole stop and frisk thing just a bit. if they didnt stop him we would still have one more scumbag on the street with an illegal gun, but we would also have one more officer that wouldnt have died..... i know its already coming so let the tomato86 bashing begin.

When you leave your house in the morning with your car keys it is for what reason?.. to carry them around or you plan to use your car?

This guy left his house in the morning with a illegal gun. For what reason?

So had they not stopped him.. yes, a cop would still be alive.. but most likely someone else would not or the gun would have been used during a crime..

If that " someone else would not be alive" person was one of your loved ones, would you still feel the same, Tomato? Or would you had wished that someone took that gun from his guy before he had the chance to kill.

NYC is not some small PA. town Tomato, where maybe walking around with a gun strapped to you or a rifle in your pick up truck is normal

When you slip a gun in your waistband and walk out of the door in NYC, chances are you plan to use

millions of gun lovers would disagree

you dont know that, just cause he was carrying it in no way proves he was going to use it. maybe he had people after him and was carrying it for protection, how would you know? and yes if cops didnt stop random people for the most minor things like adjusting your waist band, this cop would be alive. maybe that guy would've used to gun in a crime, but you dont know that. your talking as if this guy was definitely going to go shoot someone if he wasnt stopped, thats not the case your basing your argument off of a hypothetical. and i know i had a loved one who was killed in his backyard by a cop, thankfully shes facing homicide charges because there was witnesses and it was on video.

When you slip a gun in your waistband and walk out of the door in NYC, chances are you plan to use

on what basis do you make that assumption? how is that any different from someone in PA putting a gun in their waistband and walking outside? just because its NYC means he was definitely going to commit a crime with it? im not understanding your logic.

While the cops may be plain cloths they have their badges hung around their necks, under their shirts. They immediate flip them out upon approach of a suspect. That is standard operating procedure.

This guy knew they were cops. All New Yorkers know the MO of plainclothes cops. They have been around forever.

If one is a thug in NYC and puts a gun in his belt, chances are good that he's planning to use it or planning to have to use it.

that doesnt even make sense, theres "thugs" in PA too that carry guns illegally, doesnt mean they plan to use it. why does it matter so much because its NYC, thugs carry guns illegally in every state, doesnt mean 100% that theyre going to plan to use it. some arent allowed to carry guns because of past convictions but do anyway because they dont trust cops to protect them. just because its NYC doesnt mean anything. your acting like just because its NYC that it makes some kind of difference.

bad logic your using... i carry a gun all the time, and never once used it... so what am i planning here? it's better to have a gun and never use it than to not have one and need it... all it would take is one time

exactly moe, neither of them make any sense. just cause hes a thug or lives in new york that means hes definitely going to commit a crime if hes carrying a gun with him. makes no sense at all whatsoever. what does it being in new york have to do with anything? they act like just because its new york that he was definitely going to commit a crime. no logic.
