If there is a thread on this, I couldn't find it. Why do dead profiles come up in searches?

I have a lot of profiles that come up in searches that haven't been on in over a month. I'm just wondering why these profiles don't automatically fall to the bottom of a search? I don't know about anyone else, But I'm not interested in going through profiles of people who are never here. Seems like that could be fixed. Just my humble opinion.

I have no clue I don't get that very often, have you tried to define your search a bit more. That could help

When you say, "define" what do you mean exactly? Right now, I have my searches set up, well, really in a way I shouldn't have to. What I'm saying is, I would rather do 40 to 50 age wise. And 50 miles around me. But I'm having to do 30 to 50 and 100 miles around me. And the great majority of profiles are dead. Haven't been on here in months.

they don't delete old profiles, in case people come back later... i myself left a couple of times, and came back a year later and still could log on... just skip over them and email the ones that have been online recently...
