Why not try the USA.We could use someone from the outside looking in to maybe change some thinking on how we do standard teaching here. This country is so diverse and has so many cultures it would be like traveling to all these different places but only under one roof.

Traveling the US on a road trip is the way to go. Stay out of the cities and off the main highways.

Canada.. Baffin Island is located in the far north in eastern Canada, close to Greenland.. Very Remote..
Of course, being from Canada.. I can only promote tourism for this lovely Country.. Each Province has its own uniqueness.. Come and experience all the different seasons.
I met a girl from New Zealand who worked at a restaurant that 'sponsored' her.. she loved it here... nice summers and skiing in the winter.
just saying.. Happy Trails.

Idk, my work gets me to travel quite a bit....but it is usually back & forth...between Belgium and other countries.

I'm a bit tired of traveling right now...but it is worth it....

I wouldn't be able to work on a cruise ship though...and also you don't get a feel of the different countries as you would be mainly with tourists anyways.

Well, either way it puts things back into perspective....and I encourage you to go for it.

I've had some pretty good opportunities to travel due to work and fun, I've been on 5 of the 7 continents and one golden rule is that any place you are has its positives and its negatives; it's just the balance of the two makes a given place neat or not... Road tripping is pretty neat, I've always thought to drive around Australia some day... I have road tripped all over N America, some in S America and once from Portugal to Marrakesh but it is a pain if you have a rental car. BTW, few people in Brasil speak English, if you go there you will either need someone who speaks Portuguese with you, or else you need to learn if you expect to function as an adult.

LOL! That sounds like a REALLY good reason to set a "bookmark" in your phone's mapping application! laugh

I spent about three years working for a LARGE multinational corp where I had the opportunity to speak with Brazilians over the telephone - so I purchased one of those language courses on CD, & would listen to it/practice on my drive home. The Brazilians that I worked with laughed at my pronunciation, but I think that they appreciated my stumbling, fumbling efforts... tongue2

I've gotta say though - Brazilian Portugese has JUST enough overlap with Mexican Spanish that it really forced me to 'stop & think' when I was trying to communicate in one language or the other - it was REALLY easy for me to mix them up & blurt out some incomprehensible "salad"... slaphead

I am still young. I want to travel the world as well as work in different countries.
Please I would like any thoughts that you have. I want to stay away from war zone country. English is a must.

Over here in UK Annie,
Lots of young people who want to travel the world and continue their studies at the same time opt to TEACH ENGLISH.

TEFL
Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

It is very well paid in the East and the Teacher are held in HIGH regard.

It is not so well paid in African countries but the Teachers are still respected highly.

It is a job which gives a certain amount of satisfaction and it is easy to make friends too.

If you pass by England, make sure to bring cakes
rofl

Good Luck in Whatever you Choose.

Are you seeking to explore the world on your own personal funds?
Are you seeking in starting your own home biz or want to?
Do you want to work for a company?

I will be funding my own travel.

Are you seeking in starting your own home biz or want to?
No I want to learn about other cultures.

Do you want to work for a company?

I am not sure, it depends on who and what the company is.

I was going to suggest TEFL but Jaan beat me to it!
My friend did it and spent a year in China after.

You definitely have to come to the UK and stop by N.Ire and Eire on the way to the mainland!

Lots of beautiful sights within a short distance of each other.
