Well... I think looks are subjective to say if someone is ugly or not.
The outer appearance is only a small piece of the person. Looks can change in a blink of an eye.

Some of the most gorgeous pieces of EYE candy to walk this earth
are downright ugly when they open their mouths...

So I have no clue if you are ugly or not I haven't met you so I can't make that call.
Sorry

I don't think you are ugly but I also don't think either of the shots you have up are flattering. Too bad because a good photo would really up your responses if you don't say too many stupid things. Younger guys tend to open mouth insert foot with the girls. Will help if you volunteer or do something to have a chance to practice your conversational skills with females.

I'm going to with narcissism. There's not a clear face shot, but you are well aware of how your body looks. If you come across this way in person that is probably why you are single. If you really do deep down look in the mirror and believe your unattractive, you should seek professional help because you have some kind of body dismorphia issues. If you know you are hot and just need people to keep telling you that because you believe that's the only thing you have going for you... Seek professional help for THAT. Either situation is going to send girls running no matter how cut you are or how cool your bike is.

Attention seeking insecurities are unattractive maybe that's why you're single. Its not about what u look like its about what u represent and if you don't get that then quite frankly you're just going to be bouncing around like a rubber ball

Well the early twenties do not inspire great confidence in many people. The world you have known in school and family is starting to fall away and adult hood is still often not as stable with changing college schedules or trying to improve yourself in jobs.

Perhaps a combined approach will help. I have said it in other threads. I often give out and email address and the Mingle one is useful since people can chat here at various times with the prompts of topics so it is easy to chat and get to know someone. Then I cross over when I feel comfortable and the conversation seems to be relaxed at that point. I am pretty sure that is why online dating has become so popular. Hook ups were always popular and local bars if that is all people were looking for.

Well when I was in high school I was not consider the pretties or anything. No boy within the entire school that is would not go to a prom with me as my date. I had no one in general speaking so you imagination thinking I must be a ugly. Why else would no one want to go out with me? If anything I felt liked have you ever seen the Carrie the movie? I felt liked her being made fun of in general. And well I wish that I had power so everyone just stopped it. But then well it surprise me when I join this site and people coming out wood work to a message me. I had some even say they want to a married me on here few time. I had to say no way to that because well my mother been divorce and well I am caution in that area forever and I instead want a friendship on here. I mean you'll find a person that think you are pretty no what my aunt certain though I was during my awkward years at high school. So anyway it was shocking for me that is to received these message from on here saying I am pretty and what not. I never thought it would happened now because I always thought I would be well not part of the groups of what people consider pretty. As for what you say up above it depend on the person you are talking too.

The bigger question is,
Do U think U look ugly ???
It does NOT matter what everybody else thinks.

Back to the being single part.
Does it make a difference?
Are you happy or unhappy?

Would you like/prefer, not to be single ?

Remember that, beauty is skin deep
Are you a beautiful person - that`s what matters

I've got 4 years on you and have exactly the same problems, but someone mentioned it before. Body Dismorphic Disorder. I am not happy in my own skin, I am not confident around the ladies and everything I do to protect myself from heartache also hinders my chances of "love". I'm like you in the respect that people say "good looking lad" but that isn't enough. Women need some manly man to sweep them off their feets. Its like going for a job interview. The nervous ones or the ones that don't turn up are less likely to succeed than the confident ones. Depends on how you've built your CV. If I am totally honest, I should be heeding my own advice, however I know how hard it is to put into practice and just change your ways overnight. I can't find a magic bag of confidence anywhere.

You are gorgeous. The reason you don't have a girlfriend is not because of your looks... I don't know about your personality but you probably need to work on that. Be always self confident and be super nice all the time... flowerforyou There are so many ******** out there!

And one more thing... Maybe you are too picky! Maybe you need to lower a little bit your expectations...

Lucky you are so young. You have plenty of time to make changes in your life...

Anyway, if I were 20 years younger I would be asking you out right now!love

Good luck and be patient...

What is tough is some people don't really come into their looks until a little later in their twenties. Then the facial features and weight tend to level out. Skin gets better. Men usually get better beards and muscle in. Thin guys finally really see the blessing in that about 30 when all the macho guys start looking kind of frumpy because the "mass" move down around the middle. lol

And if a 20 something can afford to dress more mature he should at least in photos. A lot of times 20 Some things are still stuck in the High school "uniform" and it starts looking like a costume rather than clothes and adult would wear. Styles change and a haircut that was cool at 17 looks out of place in the adult community. As do letter jackets and so on. Jewelry is another time warp thing that can mess up a look.

And sadly some really bad tats. It might seem really cool to put some kind of BFF thing on you but when you are and adult those people tend to fall out of your life.
