Funny thing about hockey. I timekept games and worked for the arena caretaking and driving the Zamboni when I was a teenager. I must have seen 5000+ games. I lost all interest because it's not a game, it's a culture or maybe a cult!
Some worship god, some a puck!
The biggest thing was watching the kids and Juniors play. Great games but the way some of the parents pushed their kids was horrible. Some of those kids would probably rather be taking piano lessons or just hanging out with their friends. Fathers living their dreams vicariously through their sons. Just as warped as any other religion out there.

I just watch it on the tube. Mostly the playoffs!!

I do watch the odd game but it's usually just because I'm hanging out with friends. I'd rather the TV was off personally.
