A high school chum has a rental cabin complex right outside of Estes Park, Co.
She sends me some of the most marvelous photo's --- and she takes them with her wonderful camera/phone!
Just amazing --- love this one - triplet elk babies!

TY...I wasn't going to correct her; but I thought those ears didn't look right for an Elk MOM! But she's a city gal and never hunted before...:-)

No worries....have a brother that used to live in Evergreen.....just west of Denver. Used to visit and see mulies, elk, and even an occasional bear in the "neighborhood". Of course, his neighborhood consisted of winding mountain roads and homes of 4-5 acres each at abt 7000ft. Absolutely gorgeous.

My buddy & her husband just returned from they're Florida home --- they were late getting back to they're bed & breakfast set up ... he ended up having open heart surgery! The night they pulled in with they Jeep /trailer & her driving the other truck...there was a mommy mule deer giving birth right in front of they're dbl garage! So they backed out and went over to one of they're empty cabins to bunk down until she was finished. Noon the next day...she finally had the little one.
