all depends on who you ask
and what you are looking for

i think
it raises the chances of you finding someone cause most here are single
as well as you know they are single (well the ones that are single, there are a lot of people on the sight and not talking about the ones that lie on there profile) <shrug> after all i don't see people walking around with signs saying they are single in real life : )

cause to find a person in real life you have to be at the right place at the right time at the right molement

here on the net there pics are up 24 / 7

Yes, but If they ask you to send them the bus fare to meet you, it's probably a scammer.

rofl so true !!shades

Back to topic....Yes, sometimes it does. Like others have said, you still really need to be selective, careful and do lots of research (by asking them questions).

Online dating doesn't give anyone anything.
Online dating is no different than putting a sign on the side of the highway that reads "free dating, meet your match, date cute people near you!" then choosing from the people that stop and stand around the sign.

Online dating affords you a congregation you can chose how to interact with.
That's it.

It's not supposed to give you who you want.
At best it's supposed to give you the illusion that you're likely to find who you want so you keep coming back, providing traffic and eyeballs.
