A major "food stamp frenzy" is about to hit the United States with a vengeance. Frank Bates of "Survival Life" fame has the details below. What happens when 47 million freeloaders can't get their government handouts? Imagine panicked mobs picking your local store clean, looters rioting in the streets and massive chaos everywhere. How could this possibly happen? Because thanks to Obama there are now over 47,000,000 people on food stamps. That's roughly 1/6 of the entire population. Yikes! Under Obama, the number of people on food stamps has ballooned a whopping 77% from 2007 - 2012, according to an annual report from Harvard Political Review and the American Medical Association. And it's just getting worse. Within the next 10 months, "food stamp frenzy" could explode into a MAJOR crisis that hits the United States with a vengeance...   *************************** This socialist entitlement POTUS will cut our nations defenses, it's military, screw our veterans, and put the country at risk before taking entitlements away from his supporters and the illegals flooding and bankrupting our monetary syatem. since the vast majority of those 47 million freeloaders happen to be hungry children...
i don't think the fully equipped riot police will have any problem handling any major uprising when those kids start throwing their Lego's and Tinker Toys at them..

yes, the hungry children whose parents won't work and feed them will be even hungrier. Under the current load at some point it will break. Then we all will be hungry.

in the USA our market shelves are overflowing with food stuffs...i don't begrudge the idea of some of my tax money going to those who were born into a circumstance of which they had no choice...children should not have to go without food in this or any other country....there will ALWAYS be those who attempt to defraud the system for their own gain, i don't concern myself with those low-lifes in the least...
i fail to see the correlation in our ability to produce enough food for everyone regardless of whether it is paid for by food stamps or cash money....we have plenty of food, the trick is getting into the mouths of those who need it the most and for one reason or another are unable to pay for it... No, we won't ALL go hungry, the truly selfish, uncompassionate people will be the first to answer the dinner bell and will laugh at the plight of those less fortunate and tell them... "I've got enough for me and my own, you and your hungry children should've done the same" |

Well said and Yet here is the crux for me.. These children we talk about so hungry are still going without with all the fraud going on in our system as it is set up.. I am one of those that don't have to worry about hunger even back when I was working 2 jobs and going to school. I grew veggies... I also hunted or I bartered for I needed along with so many other working moms and dads I personally think the food stamp program is one that needs to be slowly abolished and something a bit better put into place. Do I have the answers nope I don't but I do know my taxes keep going up and I keep tightening my belt while some of the so called less fortunate keep having children that I have to support. Something has to break eventually and it will when that happens it is going to be ugly. |

the only way to eliminate the fraud and cheats in the the food stamp program is by eliminating the monetary aspect of it....school lunch programs are ideal as the food itself is given directly to the mouths of those in need.....with no middlemen (i.e. bad parents) to intercept and convert to their own personal use that which is intended to feed the hungry....
i agree, the food stamp program leaves a lot to be desired and change won't happen overnight....but what will happen overnight is, many many poor children, citizens and illegals alike, will be going to sleep hungry and waking up hungry in the richest country in the world....and that is to the collective shame of us all.... |

Are we talking American children here, or is everyone just assuming that. ? Or are illegal alliens included? Because..... that keeps popping up. ---------------------------------------------------- It costs more in the long run financially ( housing, medical, welfare) & in some cases with our lives & the law & courts & jail. Then to send them back or build the wall or both. We have 5 generations of Americans (Ferguson Missouri), on welfare. We have generations on Native reservations. We have places in the Kentucky mountains that need well water. We have a community in Alaska of Natives that have 2 showers for every 100 people .And only ONE snowmobile for all transpertation. And NO toilets. They use ' honey pots ' We have 1 in 4 American children hungry a day. Homeless children. * I could go on & on, we must take care of our own & not buy votes or change our culture or put ourselves at risk * |

But what would a millionaire politician care about an industry they hold stock in profiting by exporting American jobs and creating the need for an entitlement society as long as their stock options are profitable? |
