I thought blocking a user would prevent them turning up in any searches, but when I just searched for who is online a user I had reported and blocked appeared in the list. Can someone tell me why this is? And can that person contact me? If this is going to be an issue I might have to think about deleting my profile on this site.

Blocking only prevents the person from contacting you

I have two blocked users ;n my match list from 3 months ago..  Blocking them prevents them emailing you, and YOU showing up on THEIR search list. But that is all. HOW DO I DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT?
