A LESBIAN couple who vandalised and burned down their own home and called it a ‘hate crime’ in order to collect the insurance money has had the claim rejected in court.

Carol Ann Stutte and Laura Jean Stutte wrote homophobic slurs on their garage, before setting light to their Tennessee, USA, home in September 2010, reports the Knoxville News Sentinel. They blamed their neighbour Janice Millsaps for the destruction, branding her a homophobe, in the hopes of getting a US$276,000 ($376,000) insurance payout.

The couple claimed that Ms Millsaps also threatened them on multiple occasions, and a month before the fire allegedly said, “Do you know what is better than one dead queer? Two dead queers.”

Ms Millsaps denied any role in the fire and has not been charged, despite probes by the FBI and other arson investigators.

The insurance company also conducted their own investigation, including a polygraph test which Ms Millsaps passed, and concluded that the Stuttes were the fire bugs — not their neighbour.

The Stuttes have not been charged with house arson.

Frank Elliot 2Anti-gay hate crimes are terrible but so is faking them to commit insurance fraud.

In 2012, a Chicago area bar owner, Frank Elliott, reported that his bar, The Velvet Rope Ultra Lounge in Oak Park, had been targeted, the walls of the business painted with gay slurs and the building set on fire all because he had a gay customer base.

Now Elliott has pleaded guilty to starting the fire himself as part of a scheme to collect the insurance money.

On Monday, he was sentenced to 2 years probation, fined $1,179, and ordered to pay $107,000 restitution, ABC Chicago reported.

So...they were a couple of flaming homosexuals, I take it......

now the Idiots are out of a Home,Insurance won't pay up,getting charged with Insurance-Fraud,lying to the Police,and most likely Arson!
Quite an Achievement I'd say!
