Exhausted enough to say I feel numb...

Wonderful! Went to a town I never been to ... there was a good band playing in a bar. Great music, had a wonderful Saturday night, and dang did I need that! Had been a while since I last went out.

And danged proud of myself, cos I can feel awkward about going out on my own, esp if I go somewhere I've never been before and don't know anyone at all.
But I did it, and it was brill :)

Got talking to some nice guy the minute I arrived, a hippie kinda bloke with long grey hair, lol. (I feel comfy around weirdos, birds of a feather .. )
Had a brief chat with the drummer, then the singer came over and stood next to me, he was kinda cute so I started to chat with him, b@st@rd pulled me leg, and it didn't even register right away I'm such a sucker when it comes to that sort of thing

so which one did you bring home? he asked while quickly ducking behind the easel with her almost finished picture on it

Well ... if my feet hadn't been killing me, I might have stayed till the end (there was another 30 mins to go) and taken the singer home
But I know how these things work with bands .. been there done that.
They have to pack up and chit, and by the time they're done ..

I do think I'm 2 inches shorter now, my feet are seriously aching, haha
