I'm not sure what you're asking.

Are you saying in general, day to day, our focus is not on dating.
We have jobs, we go to the store, we wander around, we hang out with friends, we put on socks, etc.

And then asking what kind of person causes us to shift focus from the mundane to the romantic?

Or what kind of person makes us care that we aren't dating anyone and want to date them?

Or what thought do we put into determining the person we must date to offset the personal pleasures we focus on when we aren't dating?

Or if we put intelligence in choosing whom to date vs. just going with our attraction to someone?

Or are you asking/looking for a list of characteristics and types of people we have come up with that will most ideally fit into our general not dating life?
