Guy's how i stop gambling addiction

You quit like everything else you quit in life slowly and overtime.... you can do it it will get easier.. just start every day telling yourself you are not going to do the thing you do not wish to do .. anymore.... just make it through each day without gambling..
Do anything but that.... avoid the places you go to do it..... at the end of every day... tell yourself no matter what you did.. that day to fill up the void of gambling.. at least you didn't gamble..... give yourself a pat on the back... keep occupied.. keep yourself busy.... give yourself permission to buy the things you would like... in other words use the money you would spend gambling to purchase things clothing food new shoes. whatever....
.. just make it through the day...
And then another day... after about a week two weeks of this the urge to do the thing you wish not to do anymore will go away... but you will always have a problem with whatever it is you wish not to do anymore... you will slip up.. but set a limit.. and stay with it...
You have lost the sense of money the value of money.... you will never win back the amount of money you have already lost.. all you doing now is giving them your money.. tell yourself would you give a complete stranger your money..... if he said give me $100 and later today I'll give you $500..
Would you give it to him... probably not... the casino is the stranger asking you to give him your money your hard earned money....... you are not a fool so stop being a fool..... in this life you do not get something for nothing....
... do not listen to that little voice that tells you today is your winning day..
Instead listen to the voice that tells you by not going gambling today you are already a winner..ok..... be strong..
For two weeks be strong... tell yourself no matter what I will not gamble today I will do anything but gamble today.. now repeat after me... I can make it through the day... I am stronger than this.. I am better than this.. I am in control of myself..
