I guess even in San Francisco enough is enough. Between his supporting sanctuary cities, getting arrested for beating his wife, getting his drivers license suspended, being stripped of his service weapon and not being allowed to carry it because he couldn't qualify at the range and from a domestic violence charge, screwing up an investigation of a missing person who disappeared from a hospital and was found dead a couple weeks later in the hospital stairwell, Supporting Josh Wolf who fractured one of his Deputies skulls, staged gladiator style fights between jail inmates, getting a six month suspension from office and of course letting the career criminal and illegal immigrant out of jail who shot and killed a pretty young lady who was enjoying the sights with her family.

That's what happens when you elected a politician and not a law enforcement officer as Sheriff.

Hopefully the door hits him in the a$$ on his way out.

The results are still coming in but Vicki Hennessy is leading him in almost 3 to 1. She has 70% of the votes cast!

Knowing the bay area,
they'll probably elect him mayor of Oakland, he'll coin a term as offensive as Ebonics (Jerry Brown), then, the good people of the state with an opiate as their state flower, will probably elect that douche canoe to congress.

After all, Diane Freakstein, was mayor of San Francisco at one time.

There's an old saying, give them an inch and they will take a mile. That is what has been happening in politics since Obama took office. It is hard to go backwards after a trend has been started but much of America is saying "Enough is enough!" ... even in San Francisco!

Given the mentality of the bay area...

Perhaps, good ol' 'sheriff Ross', just wasn't socialist enough.

So... are you saying the Republicans DIDN'T gain majorities in both the House and Senate as all of the major news feeds have told us?

Or are the Republicans who you are complaining about?

Must be a local California deal of some kind.

Here in Virginia, we elect local politicians all the time, who have nothing to do with the National leadership at all. Guess that's not true where you live. Bummer!
