How did you do?



The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Yes it is true for me. These special people in my life taught me about a High Power, helped me to get sober 15 yrs. ago, and loved me until I was able to love myself. It doesn't get any better than that.

Oh my goodness, this is how I feel a lot.

I'm a music major(vocal performance) and my mom is always pushing the whole "get famous" thing. I've been considering switching majors to music therapy because I've always loved helping people and think it's what God's calling me to do. I love to perform, but I always think in the back of my mind "is this what I'm supposed to be doing with my life?"
