Buy yourself a good quality bag to keep the pillows and mattress protected, buy the best quality sheet you can afford, and make the bed a comfortable height. Room temperature, light, and ventilation can help the whole romantic effort. Keep the pets out of the bedroom as a matter of habit.

I used to be a firm believer in no TV in the bedroom.... But how the heck are you supposed to watch your porn together....

LOL Sometimes at a certain age you are doing good if you don't end up sleeping in the Lazyboy. Of course you can afford to spring for really posh bathrooms. And a Craftmatic bed to "play on".
