Well he's right. Religion is systems of man designed thru rituals to appempt a feeling of faith. But it's just garbage. True faith is an undying belief which can surpass human understanding. I will admit that Canadian has a wacky look on his face. I still give him the shadow of a doubt.

religions are human made , human has created plenty of crap in addition to good "productions" and inventions , I believe that some religions nowadays should be either banned , heavily modified to be suitable for the 21st century , or at least labeled 18 because of the amount of violence , hatred and sexual content they have , while other religions can be safely documented in history and myth books and museums .
