I got some ppl in my Whatsapp chat screen that I want deleted.
They are not in the phonebook's contact list anymore, nor in Whatsapp's contact list. Yet they STILL appear in Whatsapp's chat screen?
I have deleted the chat, but the number and picture (aka the contact itself) is still in the frigging chat screen.
Rebooted the phone, same thing. Tried a number of Googled suggestion, still in the screen.

How can I get rid of these contacts from the chat screen? Anyone have a clue? I got a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini

Maybe that's what I'll end up doing ...
Rather silly to not have a simple delete option though ...

exactly ...I use Viber now, it's much better, a close 2nd is wechat, they have the same features as whatsapp only faster & easier to deal with. I've done video & regular calls with viber to the philipinnes with no issues. I got rid of whatsapp
