I am posting this to help Illegal Immigrants headed North. I am not advising or condoning any illegal activities! Just passing on information!
Illegal Immigrant/Refugee. When you get to the border, your status changes to refugee.
Canadian law states:The applicant has all the rights afforded under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, including mobility rights.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada;
The Refugee System: Refugee claims in Canada

Canada offers refugee protection to people in Canada who fear persecution or who may be at risk of torture or cruel and unusual treatment or punishment, and are unwilling or unable to return to their home country.

If you feel that you will be persecuted or otherwise at risk as mentioned above, if you return to your home country, you can seek protection in Canada as a Convention Refugee or a person in need of protection. To be eligible, you must apply from within Canada or at a point of entry to Canada.

Best of luck to you all.

Besides, if they want in, do you think a border crossing will stop them?

About as much as it stops them from entering U.S. to start with.

I don't know much about this topic, but I DO know this..

I went to an Emergency Ward of a San Diego hospital last month for a severe ear infection.

I waited four hours before I saw a doctor, and another hour before being treated..

Because I am a Canadian citizen, my medical coverage will pay the bill..

OVER $#3,000.00..

Not bad for five hours of waiting, one shot of morphine, and a prescription..

A real bargain.....

p.s. the prescription only cost $80.00, and my MSP will pay that too.

we will need to pass by USA, in our way to Canada.

I'm referring to the ones already here. Some, and I know it's a small number, 4,000, accounted for, have already been admitted as refugees claiming economic oppression from Mexico.

Someone explain why Canada's population remains soo small!

When The US's has increased in the last 200 years Canadas seems to have hardly grown at all!!

Where do all the Canadians go?happy

They are aging and dying off.
They are attempting to bring in immigrants to care for them and do the jobs the younger generation refuses to do.
A lot of Canadians who are working class, and professionals are working in the US, India, and China, legally, for better money. From what I've read, China, for the professional is the most preferred area to work.
