Watch: LAPD to give details about knife found on former OJ Simpson property by KPCC staff 13 minutes ago. Los Angeles police say a knife was found on the former estate of OJ Simpson. An LAPD spokesman confirmed to KPCC that detectives have been looking at the knife and that details would be released at a morning press conference. A murder weapon in Simpson's 1995 trial was never recovered. NBC4 is streaming the LAPD press conference live. Too late.
The evidence they had was overwhelming enough. |

Based on the articles linked:
Buried knife found by construction worker years after the Simpson trial. Construction worker gave it to a police officer. Police officer kept it as a souvenir. Higher ups eventually found out and demanded the knife. Knife is going to be investigated as evidence. I don't see how it matters. Does anyone with a modicum of intelligence believe in O.J.'s innocence? He can't be tried for the same crime twice. He lost the civil case finding him responsible for the deaths. He's still in prison for something else. At best the only thing that comes out of this is a cop gets fired. Worst thing is OJ gets back into the spotlight and makes money as people buy memorabilia, or books, and get interested in this. |

Too late. The evidence they had was overwhelming enough. Still will be interesting if they can somehow prove the knife was involved with the murders though. Hearing that DNA testing is being done on it. Some construction worker found it on OJs old property in 1998 and turned it over to an off duty cop and that idiot kept it a secret |

He was found not guilty in Criminal Court ( which of course does not mean innocent).
But was found guilty in civil court of the deaths of both those people. That's only a small fraction of justice for both families of the victims. |

He will be released soon from prison.

Just because simpleson can't be recharged or retried for the same charge,
doesn't mean, that he can't be tried on a different charge connected to the murder he committed. |

Just because simpleson can't be recharged or retried for the same charge, doesn't mean, that he can't be tried on a different charge connected to the murder he committed. YES! Here's hoping... Withholding evidence Obstruction of justice (maybe) Interfering with an investigation Tampering with evidence (maybe) |

Well apparently all this DRAMA coincides with two movies & is giving the Jenner / Kardasians LOTS more attention... As well as OJ & Cuba Gooding Jr.
