I am dating a guy which seems to be going well. Recently he got a job so we cant see eachother in person very much. I have trouble talking on the phone. I am just not good at it. I am great in person with him. Does anyone else have this issue?

No. But I hate silences on the phone...they always make me feel awkward, which is why I think I tend to talk my head off on the phone with guys.

When I had a girl to talk to on the phone I liked it now it's just like meh occasionally I'll talk to a friend but it's like a 5 min at the most convo.

Depending on how close I am with a person, its actually the opposite at first anyway.
But now I really don't like talking on the phone so... either way it kind of sucks. This didn't help much I'm sure.. sorry. |

I'm kinda shy at first. I like it when a woman does a lot of the talking the first time. I don't make very good first impressions anyway, so often I don't ever get a second call.

I most definately do not have that problem at all.

I can talk, but usually to the point. Sometimes longer. But hate silence!

I can talk on AIM for hours, but phone conversations are generally short and sweet - the first time I sense a silence coming up in the near future, I generally spit out what I need to say and end the call, not abruptly but I wrap it up. Can't stand lulls in conversation on a phone for some reason. Good to hear other people are like that too!

If I am talking to a guy, sure, I will jump on me bed or lay on my couch, stretch me legs out and talk away.
I have fallen asleep talking to my yank on the phone, poor bugger sits there and listen to me snore too
Friends say I have a soothing voice, I think I self hypnotised myself when talking on the phone at times lol |

I can talk to some people for hours....and hours.....comfortable little silences in between too.

I don't have this problem. I am excellent to talk on the phone and in person.
