Dusk. Red arms sway softly above me. Gifts of gold, orange, turmeric and chili fall crown me, lull me to sit beneath your majestic canopy. Reach me. Enfold your roots around me, draw me closer. Sing breathless tales from long ago when the wind stirs your voice. Tell me what you have seen beneath these boughs. And I shall tell you what I have seen beyond your sight.

Thanks, although I messed that up nicely in the first stanza. Should read to crown me. Guess my broom is a bit destroyed by the past storms and form is off

Re-read this.. it's deeper than it looks.. the last stanza is jarring.. So what have you seen that this tranquil grove cannot even imagine..? Do I catch just a hint of Tolkien's The Shire..?
