Seems Monsatan, Big Pharma and govt are hard at work on the problem of population control. Yeah, right! laugh

Problem is, such a messy and underestimated impact on civilization with outcomes far beyond those expected always end up with no cure but time to reverse the damage they cause.... if it can be.

Global warming is a laugh compared to the problems we face on overpopulation

We're about to see a mind-blowing demographic shift unprecedented in human history

As the BAML team explained in greater detail:

"We are living in the midst of the most remarkable demographic transition in history with life expectancy to reach 77.1 by 2050E (vs. 48Y in 1950), the global 60+ population to grow to 2.1bn by 2050E (vs. 901mn today); the median age worldwide to hit 36 by 2050E (vs. 29.6 today); and life expectancy increasing by 1Y every 5Y. We are arriving at 'peak youth' for the first time in human history with the number of persons aged 65+ expected to outnumber children under-5 by the end of this decade. Aging has also become a universal phenomenon, and by 2050E, 80% of older people will live in EMs. Life expectancies of 300-400Y or even an infinite extension of life expectancy may be within reach in our lifetimes."

"This unique demographic phenomenon of the 'crossing' is unprecedented," the Census Bureau's authors noted earlier.

It's difficult to make out exactly what your quoted extract from some article is exactly saying.

But if I'm reading it right, it says that as I age even more, the chances of my finally finding a woman in my own age range for wild days and nights of fun, is actually INCREASING right now.

Sounds okay to me.

Seems Monsatan, Big Pharma and govt are hard at work on the problem of population control.

Yeah!
Screw those big pharma and big farma companies in collusion with the government!

Who do we have to thank for whistleblowing the evil government and big business agenda at population control?!?!

As the BAML team explained in greater detail:

Bank of America Merrilly Lynch....
Yeah! No one suspects the independent little guy!

Those smart s.o.b's say what?
. Aging has also become a universal phenomenon

Ummm...things getting older is a universal phenomenon?

by 2050E, 80% of older people will live in EM

80% of older people will live in emerging markets?!?!?!

And what are the emerging markets?
Let's see...Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, SLovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Vietnam.

Whaaaaaaaat? 80% of older people will live where a huge percentage of the population live now ?!?!?!
(yeah, I'm not looking up the percentage of the worlds population each comprise, India and China account for nearly half by themselves)

How can that be!

As a side
....By 2050 will they still be emerging markets?
Because they are emerging markets now...and if aging has also become a universal phenomenon then they will be markets that have emerged by then...won't they?

Or is BAML talking about secret markets that haven't hinted about almost emerging yet but will just begin to emerge in 34 years....?

Life expectancies of 300-400Y or even an infinite extension of life expectancy may be within reach in our lifetimes.

...But that would mean the people in their 60's, 70's, 80's (older people)...will be relatively young...so it's a younging aging population the majority of which are going to be spread out among a whole bunch of different countries?!?!?!

This has to stop!!!!!

Your thoughts?

I think I read that if New York City were the size of Texas, and maintained the same population density, then the worlds population could fit there.
I think I saw Captain America 3 today and it had a lot of holes in it. But giant ant man was pretty awesome. Pun intended.
I still don't understand how Black Widow and Hawkeye haven't been killed. They're just trained dudes.

the living for 400 years+ is just a pipe dream...even if someone did find a way to do it, it wouldn't be made public by any means...

As I have said many times, overpopulation is the mankind's biggest problem. Not only to all other problems pale in comparison, most of mankind's other problems are the result of overpopulation anyway.

Inner city crime.
World hunger
Global warming
Pandemics
Mass migrations
Illegal immigration
Pollution
Ocean fish stock depletion
Etc.

Never happen instead you just wouldn't be able to collect until you were 350 and retirement wouldn't be soing 20-30 years...it'd be 150-200 years at a company to be considered eligible
