Begun to comprehend what it means to be a human being... right now being a human being means... you get up every morning go to work for some giant Corporation.. in order to make money to buy things..stuff.. from Another giant Corporation.... because some other giant Corporation tells us we need this stuff.... work make money buy stuff pay for things... go home.. cut your grass because everybody else does.... eat food..
Go to sleep and repeat.. and in there somewhere try to fall in love see the beauty in life... be considerate kind-hearted and passionate.... explore and try to figure out who you really are..
Educate yourself in all things pertaining to the universe....ohhh.. and most importantly stop and smell the roses from time to time...

Sorry guys, but that is incorrect. There are those individuals who do something because they understand that helping that person, will help that person,help another and another and another...to the end result that positive energy trumps negitive energy. If you do one good thing a day and pass it on. We could in theory return the negative spin that our planet is now on. Don't belive me? Try it. It works. It is these individuals that run into danger to save a complete strangers life. Who give blood,not knowing were it is going, only hoping it will do good. They do this and more, and they dont even expect a thank you. You guys are correct in a way. There are not many of these warriors left. Don't count out humanity just yet. It may just surprise you.

We are all HUMAN BEING and it is already given but BEING HUMAN has become a struggle to the humanity. The essence of being human has lost its true meaning and purpose in our world today. Sad but true, the hearts of many have been devoid of good feelings and emotions, instead it is covered with hatred, vengeance , anger,dis trust, etc. Where are all the good human qualities that we are supposed to live by? Indeed it would be like heaven if love, compassion, empathy, kindness and generosity reign on earth.

Unfortunately "Karma" doesn't like some of us. I've spent most of my life giving what I can when I can and all Karma has ever done is $h!+ on me. I've know one person in the my life that called me up on occasion and said "hay man, want to hang out or go and do something?" The only time anyone else ever calls me is when they need something, like money or free labor. So as much as I'd like to believe in the bank of Karma that makes sure good things happen to people that do selfless things for people they don't know, I've seen to many good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people to put my faith in it.

Being Human means... when you're with someone you wish you were alone.. and then when you are alone you wish you were with somebody..

There is simple self interest. Where there is not much thought past impulse.

There is also complex self interest. Where a longer term view is undertaken and recognises we effect our own environment and those around us. This is also fuelled be empathy.

Very well said Ms. Blonde am glad to hear it from you If I may add, I believe that being a deceiver is not being human. The true essence of being human as a universal quality loses its true meaning when we focus on our personal interests by deceiving others. This will rob us of a feeling of humanity making us feel isolated , empty, insignificant and meaningless. As for being gullible, I see it as a strength not a weakness because it makes us feel more human having a heart that believes and trusts, hoping that there is goodness left in the hearts of humanity. We maybe foolish and careless sometimes yet we are improving and learning what or how it is to be human.
