The amount shown on the table is the amount of Dollars you got for 1 Euro.
In January 2002 the Dollar was worth a lot more than the Euro

it isn't printing money we don't have, that would cause inflation. its that we've been running a trade deficit since the 80's and the only things keeping the dollar strong have been the sheer size of our g.d.p. and the fact that china has been buying dollars to strengthen confidence in their own currency. it will get worse before it gets better, but exports are picking up for us at least.

Fresh not at all......

You dollar directly impacts on our dollar..

trade is affected, housing rates, world banks, stock markets.

it is the narrow minded arrogance of some, that continually degrade this country, and refuse to see the challenges of their own country that I object to.

It sucks for all of us, globally, when any trade partner is suffering.

Maybe I am viewing things incorrectly....but so many of these threads seem to have people that get enjoyment out of the areas where the US is deficient! But in truth whether our President is an idiot or not, we are the ones carrying the burden, paying the taxes, dealing w/ the inflation. And you bet your ass it affects the whole world.....but Jess it will affect your household much more indirectly than it will affect mine I gaurantee you that!
