Like many have said, what's in the past is in the past.
Talking about possibility of Sexually transmitted diseases, is a different conversation. That's really all that needs to be discussed.

IF there really IS a HISTORY, that should make you cautious, coz you don't want to become a part of her past, right ..
As the saying goes -- the past is history, what's now is present, and the future is mystery.

I see it this way -- as you can't change the past, live in the presence and take your girlfriend as a gift ..

everyone would be compatible with everyone and conversation would not exist if the past didnt matter


the past,, the things people have had happen to them and their responses,, tells us alot about a person,,,,,it doesn't tell us EVERYTHING, but it tells us as much if not more about that person than what 'this moment' ever could.

for me, the past and the present are the two things people use to assess others. Just look at the political thread and how much of what someone 'did' or allegedly 'did' (both in the past ) shades a citizens view of them.

I definitely agree that what is happening in 'this moment' should not be ignored, I believe its foolish to take that one SNAPSHOT of a person to make decisions while ignoring the rest of their life.

Sex is a major deal to me, so it matters not because of insecurity but because of the priority I place on it. Much like it will be a red flag if a guy has a history of knocking around his girlfriends (even if they never died or complained) and feeling it was ok,,,,,it will be a red flag if a guy has a history of making babies and not caring for them, or sleeping with a different girl every night

history can be a significant indicator of values and standards,,,and values and standards can be an area that establishes compatibility for many people,, like myself
