My roommate is driving me crazy. She hogs the bathroom. I will use the shower and then do my makeup in my room. She refuses to do this and screamed at me on Friday morning to the point where I had to leave the house because I couldn't listen anymore. She was upset because my taking a shower was making her late for work??? How do you talk to someone like this and get them to understand that we need to "share" the bathroom. I am dreading tomorrow morning alread. I can't revolve my life around her. Any help would be welcomed.

Maybe come up with some kind of schedule. One of you could take their showers at night. I don't know. Just try to talk to her without yelling, blaming, etc. and see if you can work something out like that.

You both need to sit down and schedule your time in the bathroom. First of all, she should have talked to you instead of yelling. If you could remain calm (not easy when you got yelled at) and talk to her, maybe she will be civilized as well. It is dreadful when roommates don't see eye-to-eye. I am sorry, and hope you both can work out some understanding of each other's needs.
