I am unable to logout.

For mobile phone users: Go to Settings Log out is located near the bottom of the list.

It isn't under settings the only option I have is to deactivate my account.

It isn't under settings the only option I have is to deactivate my account. have a look at the "help" forum, there are related topics there the moderators were saying the problem is with the mobile app.

can you still be viewed when you're logged out? yes, it just shows you OFFLINE but your profile is still there. the people can still see and visit you.

Update With a change in the phone APP overnight there is no longer the ability to LogOut. "M2 apologizes for the inconvenience." soufie Site Moderator

What if you forget your username and password and it won't send a reset email?

can't log out
