Thinking ... I did it! I achieved a goal, a dream come true!
Yesterday the paperbacks I'd ordered of my my own book came in, and there I was, staring at the copies in the box. Overwhelmed. Weird. It is so real, different from the E-book I already had in. I can now touch it, feel it, smell it, and I'm reading it. Reading my own book. So odd! It took me a couple of hours to let it sink in. And even now, a day later, it still is unreal. But I did it anyway! I got proof now  PS... the careful observer will notice the ring I'm wearing... It has a faceted aquamarine in it.

I'm closer to the UK, on the south-west coast. If I'd cross the North-sea in a straight line, I'd end up somewhere near Southend. I will definitely keep my own copy, I want my own book in my bookcase! I got the E-book, but somehow a hard copy is more real to me. The idea is to have all 4 books of the series in my bookcase. Working diligently on the 2nd! It's already finished, but needs tweaking. |
