Errr... like the OP said ... there are some ads that cover the top of a page so that you can NOT use the links anymore, rendering the page totally useless.
Often there's deals with advertisers about the types of ad they'll put on a page, and the ones that cover the top part aren't welcome.

The ppl that run the free forums (mine is one of them), had the same problem a while back. I actually lost members because of that. A forum is pointless if members cannot navigate the site cos of ads covering the links. Then you might as well close up shop...

I have never had that problem plus the forums are still accessible, obviously

The help forum is a betyer place. Someone might be able to give advice or log a bug
