I ventured into this kind of relationship and I believe it only works if you eventually meet in person. Communicating over the computer is fine but it does not take way from a actual meeting and the locking of eyes so to speak. I talked with someone every day on the computer and after awhile I took a vacation jumped on a plane flew halfway around the world and met the woman of my dreams, so yes it can work but it takes patience.

I did for a while. I lived in PA and used to fly to Milwaukee to visit her in college. It definitely has it's great moments, but it also drags you through hell. I honestly can't say I would ever really do it again.
