Thank you Different Kind of Wrench for showing me that sometimes the dance and tune need to be expressed even if its totally different than the music you normally hear

This is something different than what I normally write, so here goes

the wind is blowing
rain is falling
hard and heavy
beating against the rooftop
rattling the windows
dark, dreary night
pessimitic thoughts
invade the brain
struggling to come to the surface
closing of the eyes
visions come to life
slowly the visions fade
a soft light begins to glow
it grows stronger
brightness takes over
optimistic thoughts begin
the struggles begin to fade
as the brightness grows stronger
smiles begin to appear
on the visions that are seen
the battle is over
the wind is blowing
rain is falling
hard and heavy
beating against the rooftop
rattling the windows
optimistic thoughts win
in this dark dreary night
