It's Friday the 13th...
are you careful about what you do on a Friday the 13th
I think I will ask Siri -of where this superstition comes from - that biatch knows everything..

There are a few "reasons." First, there is the Last Supper which had 13 people present and was supposed to have taken place near the end of the week.

Second is the mass arrests of Knights Templar on a Friday the 13th in middle ages France.

Lastly, the novel by Thomas Lawson helped spread and solidify the superstition.

I'm pretty sure there were other events, but that's what I remember...

It's just another day to me and if you don't dwell on how bad things could be then they won't be. Allowing what you've heard to dictate your actions is how superstitions work, if you don't believe in them they lose their power or ability to effect your life.

Indeed it's allegedly the arrest of the Knights Templar in France.
I've also read that it used to be a lucky day in paganism. If that is true, than church would probably have used any excuse to taint it.

For me it's a lucky day. I was born on Friday 13th :)
So I'm not superstitious about it, other than that it's a really good day! How can it not be if I chose to be born on a Friday 13th?!
