whoa

again, their citizenship status has nothing to do with their character or alleged criminal behavior

IF there were previous complaints and nothing was acted upon, than the school would be liable.

This is one of many (alleged) rapes that occur everyday in this country and the only ones held accountable are the ones who CHOSE to (allegedly) commit a crime.

Yes it does. Rape is rape! End of story! Not about consent

As far as illegals...real citizens can go off grid but they find them. Illegals...they can't because they know they shouldn't be here. Makes it harder to find themslaphead

umm, CONSENT is the primary determinant of RAPE

these illegals were in school and the found them just fine

Read the OP. No consent given! They forced her! Illegals have no document or paper trails. That is a difference!. Has NOTHING to do with statutory!

I agree, I was responding to mightymoe and I believe others have also commented about how the age made consent a non issue,, not saying any names

Focus...she didn't consent!

Thank God I don't luve in Maryland. Guys that age preying on a girl of her age? They would be shot by me. Don't care about the laws...kids that young don't know.

Thank God this isn't about that. It ia about illegals (hard to trace) brutally rapibg a young girl. Can we possibly focus on that instead of making excuses?

whoa

This is about (alleged) rapists in high school assaulting a fellow high schooler

the facts and the courts will determine the rest

I have not excused anything, I have followed the FLOW of the conversation and responded accordingly to the points being made

Yea...roll eyes at rape

my eyes are rolling at the overdramatization and simplifying and backtracking

Wtf? I have answered both issues. Try again. A 14 yr old was raped. They rapists were illegals. I, at least answer both sides

Respond to the actual, brutal rape. Respond to the illegals that are usually off the grid. The girl in the OP is a victim! Thank God they caught the low lives! Illegals can slip through the cracks. That is the importance of it. Legals leave a paper trail of some sort. Illegals don't.

This child was raped....don't defend it

as a victim I have never 'defended' rape

this child has ALLEGED rape, and most likely was but the facts are not in

responding to THIS case, the 'illegals' were teen rapists who were ON the grid ,,,

illegals can slip through the cracks, so can anti government types, and clever criminals of all nationalities

the importance of their nationality is only that the rape becomes more newsworthy,,, it is no less a shame for the victim than the thousands of other rapes that have occurred by US citizens upon other citizens

I am a victim too and we have different ways of being advocates. I would never tell a victim it's time to get over it or defend a rapist

nowhere have I told the victims that either

I have posted the laws for those who brought up age of consent
I have stated my opinion about the relevance of citizenship on rape
I have stated my opinion on teens having sex with teens.

Yes you did. I don't agree with them. But isn't that irrelevant to the OP? Sorry but a 14 yr old is more important than stupid laws

I have only stated my opinion about citizenzhip being the issue

never said anyone should 'get over' anything and never defended rape,,,,that is just more overdramatization of what I Actually postede

Citizenship vs rape. Got it

I don't care about citizenship unless it come down to hunting a rapist down. MY concern is a 14 yr being raped!

Citizenship (or lack there of) is only a part of the story.

I agree ,whats significant is rape

others trying to make the significant factor about nationality,, I disagree with

I agree. But it is part of the story. Not consent or anything else

one was a illegal immigrant the other was 17 so the authorities are not stating his status. Both came from the same country only months earlier.

If they were not here in the first place this KID would not have been raped.. And I stress.. KID.. MS.. and she was RAPED.

so it sure as hell does have something to do with where they came from AND be ILLEGAL in this country.

drinker

Not to mention...in general...harder to find illegals because of no paper trail.

They raped a 14 yr old girl. Illegal or not, lock them up and the inmates will teach them

not really, In any case where there is a rapist, it obviously may not have happened in THAT TIME AND PLACE had that individual not been there, but that does not make the nationality an issue

whether that individual was a citizen or not

someone could have previously been let out on probation for theft, and then commit rape,

someone could have never been caught in any crime and commit rape

in both cases, their mere absence would have changed things

but their previous criminal status (unless it was rape related) would still be irrelevant

In your mind maybe

But in mine.. if they ain't here it doesn't happen.... period. I really don't give a s**t what they do back in their own county but I do give a s**t what they do in our country AND certainly what they do to our CHILDREN..

After all.. they are our CHILDREN.. aren't they.. aren't we supposed to protect them.. look out for them.. DEFEND them.

Thank God some of us think so.

some of us went to school for education and understand that ages 14-18 are ALL Adolescent ages, so the victim being 14 is a distraction being that the victim AND Her alleged attackers are adolescents

yes, we are supposed to protect our children, unfortunately there is no way to do it without being observant of the actions of INDIVIDUALS,, not the citizenship
