Being illegally here is dumb. They should be deported, not incarcerated because our taxpayers pay for that

I agree, one breaking a law, especially a dumb one, should be willing to make the sacrifice of the potential fines or incarceration,,,

I just hired 10 refugees from 7 different parts of the world. Great people.. really nice.
I hired them thru a religious organization that helps new AMERICANS find housing, jobs and start their new life

Each spent a average of 1 1/2 years in a refugee center going thru the correct way to become a American. The LEGAL way

So what are we telling these people who did it the right way when we allow ILLEGAL aliens to live here.

I am under no delusion about any of those points.
I only stated my OPINION about dumb laws, which is probably why there is the potential for them to CHANGE.

Just as others state opinions but some how you argue it.

So here is my point....these cities are harboring illegals so why should they get state or federal money?

they can apply, but its very slim chance they can get approved, as most work visas require either an employer to already be sponsoring or that there be a lack of American workers for the job

Then they can wait. Other countries enforce their immigration laws but don't have the mass problem we do

I am no stranger to the immigration process, if you recall my ex and I spent THREE years doing it 'the right way'

and obtaining refugee status is an entirely different process

but some people have situations of too much despair to foresee waiting THREE YEARS for the process to work for them, not to mention, the financial requirements to get approval which many obviously dont have or they would not be coming here for opportunities,,,

So they have too much despair?. I have people here who were in legitimate fear for their life.. who came with.. nothing but the clothes on their back. is that not despair

So they "Can't" wait ?.. and that somehow now becomes our problem?... why?

So they then sneak in our country.. undocumented.. not vetted.. just walk in to do as they please.

And the 200,000 of them in our prisons... it was o.k. for them to waltz in.. undocumented.. not vetted. right?... nice neighbors they turned out to be.

Illegal children can qualify for Medicaid and other welfare whether they are born here or not. Medicaid also pays for children's dental so thousands of illegal children got free braces for their teeth and the dentist billed medicaid for it. It cost the state millions of dollars just on braces.
Another scam on a system that was intended to provide basic medical care for children.

understandable, that is the reason for refugee status, those who are fleeing GREAT Desperation from somewhere else, an EXTREME

however, people don't let their families starve gracefully, and many of those starving don't fit guidelines of having an 'extreme' enough situation but still recognize that without basics, it can take alot less time than three years to end up dead


the way we treat the most desperate amongst us, should be our problem, not as Americans, but decent human beings,,
