I'm usually not that strict with brands. I look for things that are affordable, but I do read labels and ingredients on some products. About 10 or so years ago I picked out this hair shampoo from a big salon. I spent half an hour reading label because there are ingredients in shampoos that shouldn't be there. The first time I used it, I loved it. Always had to order it or travel out of town to find it. I was ready to be a spokes person, and used it for several years. Then one new bottle I opened, it was different. I think the company changed the ingredients or watered it down. I stopped buying it.

Best Foods mayonnaise, on the western part of the US. On the eastern part of the country it's called Hellman's. It's the same company and same product. I actually hate mayo.
