I think those great men practiced polygamy to protect the women, not for lust. The women lost their husbands from war and there were not enough men for them. I think they were practicing makes perfect

Good Day, my mingle 2 friends, well your boy is going to use himself as the subject to this. First, of all thanks peace & Love to all my loyal Vocal Avengers, you guys continue to keep me relevant to these forums thanks a mill. Okay, I'm ask my m2 friends this, this is not a scenario but a thought. I had a thought one day I want to get married. have more kids, spend the rest of my life happy. But then I came across a book about great men in human history had a wife and concubines. So I was thinking maybe one day I can be in a position that I can not only have my wives under one home but be financially stable to take care of my wives. Now before I let my Vocal Avengers voice there views, remember great people in history had many wives, and why is that forbidden here in America? So what should I do America, stick with one beautiful wife someday or claim my kingdom with wives & concubines? Oh yeah women, I'm very interested in hearing from you. Would you be able handle a man that have more than one wife or you like Naw, that's something I don't approve? So lets talk, can't wait to hear from you all. Poor man, you don't know what you wish for. Many men can't handle even one.

Welcome no I think you very smart to want to share what you think and to ask questions that's how we learn from one another. I created this type of hot tea because I wanted to get more feedback on how Americans feel about polygamy ? So far I been getting people that don't have a problem with that ideal. as long as its not hurting on taking money out of someones pocket than people seem to be amused by the ideal. |

Having multiple wives for reproductive purposes is different than keeping a harem for sex. If you are king, you may have multiple wives so you sire many sons. Heir to the kingdom and all that. The United States is not a kingdom tho. Multiple wives may also be a status symbol in some cultures. Wives usually come with a dowry. Her father gives rewards for you marrying his daughter. You collect wives and you collect wealth or influence. That isn't true in the United States. The great men in history had multiple wives but their wives were not what made them great. The status of having multiple wives gave them power and confidence along with wealth to make things happen. Higher status, more wealth more wives. In the United States wealth gives you power. You are not great because you have multiple houses or cars. You can have multiple wives in the USA if you have wealth and power. Just become a citizen of a small country that allows it and file for diplomatic immunity. To me, having one wife in the states is not a status symbol or an indication of power. It is a personal choice between two adults. |

How selfish and egotistic is that... wanting more then one wife.
I would never want to be with a woman who thought it to o.k. to "" share".. I would think only a woman of low self esteem who even consider that. But so be it, there is no shortage of egotistic men and submissive woman who are happy with just being a follower. As long as you can afford the offspring you produce without asking the public to burden the load of your lifestyle. Be my guest Not my style.. that's for sure. |
