Was seeking a relationship! But this site is slow for serious Relationship dating.

Meanwhile I met a nice gentleman at work! He ask me out! As Friend s.

biggrin hope it lasts and he doesn't get married on me.

I was going to say something amusing, but looking at the responses I changed my mind. I'm looking for any signs that people have not forgotten how to put an effort into trying to meet someone.

The lot of you come across as a lazy $h!ts. Maybe if you say it 3,000 times on the internet it will come true. whoa

I'm inclined to agree with the sentiment stated here. I joined M2 with the hope of meeting someone. However, it soon became apparent that most of the women that expressed an interest thought their work was done once they'd said "hi".

Only once in 5 years has my mind been stimulated enough to compel me to meet for a date.

I now no longer consider dating sites a viable use of time in that regard and only remain a member here due to the conversation the forums provide.

It's the same even on paid dating sites. Should never be used as 1 source.

5 yrs? Shows 2016.

If I only knew :(

I am only half way through a divorce battle, had some bad experiences in the past. So I can only tell what I don't want:

I don't want to fall for a scam ... well, obviously and I am not able yet to start something really serious, as in living together. But if there is mutual understanding and patience, I am quite flexible.

Exactly. So we all have to be a bit suspicious, I reckon. And there is always alarm bells ringing, when people are too pushy. Let's exaggarate, like asking for marriage straight away.

Or what happened to me, that young lady from the US of A, telling me she was on army deployment, but she wanted to meet me in a couple of days. And I had to apply on her behalf so she would get leave. Checked it on Google, and the first post was a scam warning. Who ever falls for this scam, is getting a bill of 800 USD. I blocked and reported this person.

I believe that a good relationship starts in a good friendship and that friendship is one way or another to know each other well and might lead to a serious relationship that binds them into marriage where they will stay and live for a lifetime

I admit I've been a victim of scam too but I just consider it as a lesson or a bad experience. It is hard to find real people online.
