hello This is one of the reasons I like the forums, it's like being in a bar having a chat with a friend and someone just comes in and says hi Totally oblivious to what's going on  It's amazing, innit! It's totally -->   Definitely. I play the girls v boys numbers game if you know it and someone will just pop in and say hi or something really random

What does my profile say? I've been here off and on for almost 10 years. I like forums. I guess I missed the part in the fine print where it says YOU MUST BE HERE TO DATE. Until you buy this site and kick me off you can kiss my azz...  10 yrs |

I am with Waterloo. I have been here for 10 years and never used this as a dating site. I used it as a social site for the forums.
This had never been strictly dating. That is why they have many options, on the profile, for "Interested in" like friendship and activity partner or intimate encounter |

If you are not available to date, on a date site? Because life happens and sometimes when it gets difficult dating may a rather low priority or stop all together. But does not mean you are not interested in the subject. Or don't want to be completely absent from the dateing scene. It is amazing what you can learn watching. I have seen some local players have one persona on this site like a little lonesome choir boy; and three other personas on three other sites. When you get to a point where you are not a kid you move very carefully and and learn what the game is really about. ND not everone here is here for just anyone that wants to "have" a chat or get a date so they can brag on another site. |

To add to Datwasntme's list: - Some found love AFTER they made their profile here, like me, and stay for the forums.   Yup, met a wonderful man last year  But I simply like the forums. It's a different thing of course if someone has found love and/or is involved and is looking for something outside of that... But I have clearly stated in my profile that I've met someone. Since not everyone checks profiles and just sends messages -that do say they've read my profile btw, lol- I still do get messages saying stuff like; "I really like your profile! I'd like to get to know you more." Always makes me wanna reply: "Please put on your reading glasses and read my profile again! Oh, and stop talking out of your rectum while you're at it" hahaha But I'm a nice girl, so I usually simply delete. . . . That is wonderful you found your good match! Many men do not read profiles, jut look at photos! Imo |

I am with Waterloo. I have been here for 10 years and never used this as a dating site. I used it as a social site for the forums. This had never been strictly dating. That is why they have many options, on the profile, for "Interested in" like friendship and activity partner or intimate encounter I guess that is why I never met a man in person from mingle!  I've met several from a paid site! Thanks for your input!

I believe her point is that we all should be using the site for the reasons she thinks the site is supposed to be used. Since we are not using the site properly that is why it is difficult for her/people to get a date from here. |
