Topic: Doesn't this get repetitive over the years

For me, Online dating forums are rather new but I have been part of other forum communities for the past 20 years or so. Many times I have in excess of 10,000 posts on my user name.
There are always cycles of topics.

That is because some subjects are common to a lot of people.

What makes some of those cyclic topics interesting is that sometimes, someone gives an opinion or observation that changes how you interpret the subject. That change initiates a whole new conversation that sometimes sets a whole new string of topics in motion.

Granted there are lots of topics that are cloned repeats. This is because most people don't search back into the archives for their topic subjects but initiate a new topic as they desire. They have an idea for a topic, create it and see who responds.

I could respond to many similar topics by just copying and pasting what I had written previously but there are many times that what I wrote in the past has changed slightly from what I will write at the moment. We all change all the time. When how I respond to a ditto topic has not changed, I personally, choose not to comment, even when the topic is important to me. If I do reiterate my comment, it is because I feel it is important for me to do so. Still, I always try to write it in a different way.

As for the reasons why others do or say what they do, Its really none of my business. Just like its none of yours. People have their own reasons for the things they do. Just like you.

I can understand why you ask these questions, you can't figure out what is going on. You are trying to figure out a pattern so you might fit in. I assure you, just be yourself and accept others as they are and you will fit in anywhere. Understand yourself and you will understand others.

Life is repetitive as are judgements and how much people resent when assumptions are so much balogne.

Newcomers should remember that results from dating websites like this one are different than just going to your local Guitar Center and coming home with a new Strat or Les Paul.

Well.. I keep coming back for the free popcorn and doughnuts ..myself..

It's like watching your favorite movie over and over again sometimes you get sick of it.. sometimes you don't..
So yeah watch it again..... and who are we to judge if anyone likes to hang out here.... it's like that TV show Cheers where everyone knows your name... sure it' can be at times sad and pathetic ...but @it's ours.!!... and then there are those times where can be a laugh riot.. then there are those times where can be thoughtful and genuine Soul touching provocative make you think outside of the box...
And besides it's better than TV sometimes.. this is more Interactive...
Lol..wink..
