The Democratic Party has morphed into the Communist Party/Socialist Party as evidenced by endorsing the Democratic Candidates for President
By Bob Cushman The Democratic Party has morphed into the Communist Party/Socialist Party. When I was young, the Communist Party and/or the Socialist Party usually had a candidate for President every four years. The last time that happened was 1984. Beginning in 1988, the Communist Party has supported every single person running for President representing the Democratic Party. Why do you think that is? Notice the rhetoric of making "the world a better place", as opposed to making the United States of America a stronger, more secure land of the free. If you take the time to compare the 1960 Communist Party Platform to the current Democratic Platform of today, you will find an amazing degree of similarity. They have invented the terms Globalism and Populism which is simply "code" for Communism and Patriotism. They use emotional appeals to "income inequality" as a cover to the Communist's/Socialist’s desire to redistribute wealth. They use the subject of immigration in such a way as to ignore the nearly one million good and "legal” immigrants that we gladly accept every year. Their elected "leaders" have blatantly provided cover for the bad "illegal" immigrants that were allowed to illegally flow across the border and provided illegal sanctuary cities that protected criminals that have hurt and murdered Americans. Their fiscal policies have doubled the national debt under potus number 44. The first 43 presidents accumulated 10 trillion dollars of debt. Obama single handedly doubled that in ONE SINGLE Presidency to 20 trillion dollars! Every single person working today now owes 160,000 dollars as their portion of the national debt. What this means is that we have indebted our children and grandchildren for our out of control spending. This is patently immoral by anyone’s standards! If you take the time to see the false narrative and the appeal to emotion at the expense of facts, you should be able to understand the true motives behind their actions. It has nothing to do with “kindness” and everything to do with obtaining and controlling power. The simple truth is that if you vote on the Democratic Party side of the ballot, you are an enemy to the Principles upon which our great Country was founded. First. Globalism, populism, communism, and patriotism are DIFFERENT things.
Second, I do not recall America having a 'communist party' on the ticket Third, If you take the time to compare the REPUBLICAN platform of the 60s to the modern DEMOCRAT platform, you will find an 'amazing degree of similarity'. Fourth. Fiscal policy has increased the debt for DECADES, under both republican and democratic leadership. Heck, Reagan came in with under 1 T debt and left with nearly 3T. Fifth: There is much more to a nation than its debt, some of the countries with the lowest debt, also have the lowest standards of living and human decency. I would not want to trade off the latter for the former. Debt and 'morality' are not exclusively intwined. Sixth: It is quite ironic to state in one sentence the ills of 'obtaining and controlling power' and in the next declaring that a simple choice of a candidate of a certain party makes you 'enemy to the Principles upon which our great Country was founded' and silly considering those founders were from both parties themselves. and Last, the most relevant comparison to be made in the US is that the Democrat party has morphed into the republican party of past that was for equality and the 'general welfare' of US citizens. It boils down to word play and playing on fears of the average joe/jane. I could be just as clever by saying " The American people will never knowing accept a dictatorship. But, under the belief that someone will enforce oppression upon the 'others' they fear are taking 'their stuff', they will adopt every fragment of the dictator programuntil one day America will be a third world nation, without knowing how it happened. |

You redefine it, and then keep pushing your definition and understanding until other people start using it the same way, and eventually everyone loses their ability to use dictionaries and simple google searches and common sense and inherently assume a word means what they want it to. There have never been any true communist countries, and what you are referring to as "collapsing socialist countries" are not true socialist countries. It is true that most dictatorships collapse. That happens whether they are some version of capitalism, or some version of socialism. And no, this thread is another propagandist bit of silliness. The Democrats are no more turning into communists or socialists than the Republicans are. The Republicans ALSO support the idea of the central government telling you what you can and can't do, they just have a slightly different list of what is allowed, and a very different list of who is allowed to profit from it. |
