good evening my majestic family of M2, its a philly mess today rain off & On but I'm here foe you all regardless. shouts out to "Ms. Harmony, " Alleoops", Greeneyes148", "37KO","Ciretom", Tom4UHere" and many others that follows my stuff..Okay, lets get back to my comfort zone, I have to being the controversy. you love my controversial topics brought back by popular demand, so let's get right into it. Today's Hot Tea is I know this going to rub some the wrong way but if I didn't do it like that, I be just another guy posting nonsense. Today we going to talk about the American Constitution. Its funny I brought that up I live here in Philadelphia, downtown is the constitution hall where it was originally written. When I see the wall of constitution I have mixed feelings. Let me explain, okay before I continue if this will offend you please skip my forum. I'm not going to cater to those too close minded. If you want to share , read on! okay my mixed feeling towards our constitution is meant well, but once again I don't think that was written for minorities especially blacks. You got to remember we was considered 2nd class citizens. Those laws was written by old world masons and those was written to set up equality among men but its so we don't have a monarch kingdom. I think it should be rewritten include all, make it universal. The rewrite should include women & immigrants that migrate here legally. I more interested in hearing wisdom, oppositions, & people that agree with a rewrite. Hell, we have Aliens & Hybrids walk among us, include them too. So let's talk about this, I am very interested to hearing from you all. Like I always say all replies will be responded.

Like I said in my introduction those old world bills wasn't included black slaves or even free slaves. it was written to prevent a monarch in America. For those don't know what I mean when I say that, they don't want America to resort in having Kings & Queens. So the Constitution is just as tampered like bill of rights.

Hey Eyeam,

Well, my pov is that every community/nation/culture is type of family and like any family there needs to be a basic foundation that persists for it to stand upon

that family may move to different environments, may lose or gain family members, or go through changes that require it to make adjustments as they go, but never to start completely over,,imho

Much of what the founders wrote was obviously for a world they lived in and not the world we live in , and probably not a world they could even imagine,, but the basics and intentions persist whatever world we are in,,

So, I may be married with one child staying home with that one child while my husband works outside the home and my priority will be keeping that child safe

but if we then have another child, I may need to work outside the home as well, my priority will then be teaching the children to look after each other, as well as having someone with them to keep them safe


so, the details can need to be updated or adjusted, but the basic foundation does not need to be torn down and begun all over,,

So who is going to rewrite this? And how will people ever agree to it? We could vote, but after the last election. I'm sure there would be plenty of pissed off people! People already twist the meaning if it to get what they want so why don't we just leave it alone as we've gotten by for the last 240 years as it is.

I suggest you reread the Constitution again,and do some extensive reading of the Reasons why the Framers did arrive at the Constitution and Bill of Rights!

I agree that some things in the founding documents are a bit one sided if that is how YOU choose to interpret them. All laws are biased against someone.

The "Preamble to the Constitution"

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

This establishes the reason for The Constitution.

We the People of the United States

This tells who is involved. It means all the citizens of the nation. It doesn't list specific races, creeds or genders. It includes all.

in Order to form a more perfect Union

This indicates the intent that it is meant to bring the citizens of the Union together. Again, it doesn't specify any demographics.

establish Justice

Since the decree concerns "We The People" it implies that the justice being established is for the citizens. Again, no distinction of groups.

ensure domestic Tranquility

Since the decree involves the citizens and is concerned with the entity established as the United States of America, the Domestic Tranquility concerns the nation and its citizens. Again, no isolated demographics - all citizens.

promote the general Welfare

General Welfare is how well the general public fares. General is specific in that it means every citizen as established by "We The People". The opposite of specific selection.

to ourselves and our Posterity

This specifically indicates two groups. The Current group at the time and All groups that grow from that initial group. No exceptions are indicated no implied.

this Constitution for the United States of America

Its purpose is FOR the United States of America. If you are a US Citizen, it is for YOU.

At the time these decrees were made and laws were written they were meant for the CITIZENS of The United States. Immigrants are not citizens until they are made citizens by an established protocol. Slaves were not citizens until they were given their freedom and citizenship. Women had some citizen rights but were not acknowledged as full citizens until a law was passed giving them specific rights. Children are not full citizens until they become of age.

Since the documents and laws apply to "Citizens" of The United States of America there is really no need to rewrite the documents or create a whole new decree.

What needs to be done is for the Citizens of The United States of America to start adhering to the intent of the decree without prejudice. Until that happens they will feel inaccurate to some of us.

If a national document or law specifically considers one demographic over another it is in violation of "Forming a Perfect Union".
Any law or national decree that does that should be rescinded and rewritten to include all our citizens or it is in violation of the intent of the Union of this Nation.

Prejudice is passed on generation to generation because it is perpetuated by individuals. It must be individuals that change the trend, not the entity of government.

Lead by example and teach prejudice or break the cycle and change the future. It is up to each and every one of us.

It needs to remain a document that can CONTINUE to be amended as needed, lik it has been doing since its inception,,,

but it is certainly due some amendments

Hello my good friend of M2, you right maybe not totally rewrite it but change it to make it truly universal. the bill of rights as well. why can't we change them. if they getting ready to delete paper dollars for a cashless society, what's outdated bills?

Slavery is against the law in The United States of America.

At the time those laws were written and decreed it pertained to a specific group, Negroes. The slavery laws intent was to abolish ALL SLAVERY in our nation. Regardless of any specifics written to establish the laws, the intent of the law affects all citizens/people of this nation.

That is why there is not a slave market at the mall to buy people of any race. Because the laws were written to abolish slavery and not prevent one specific people from being considered slaves.

Negroes were not the only slaves. Many other peoples were bought and sold for labor before slavery was abolished.

Virginia was the first colony to define the status of slaves in explicit legal terms. According to the colony's 1705 law, all blacks, mulattoes, and Native Americans, all non-Christian persons brought into the colonies as servants (even should they later convert to Christianity) were considered slaves.

Freemasons wrote that for the interest of white America. don't get me wrong I love all people from black to white to blue & whatever. but I am against human education against lies.

Welcome back, I can't do that. when a person that's minorities get randomly stopped by police. you do have rights but black men seem like it doesn't applies to us. picture me saying" officer, I have the right to ask why you stop me & to treat me like an equal to other motorist. that cop will get pissed and say guns drawn "get out the car, keep your hands where I see them" so you go" okay, don't shoot, I know my rights, then they respond " I don't care about what you know get out the car". so its contradiction in those bills. now if I'm a white motorist, he may be still an *** but at least guns not coming out at least not right away.

In this world today, black entertainers get killed just because they want to own there own distribution & masters of music. why did Michael died? it wasn't about a drug overdose not to compare mike to politics but he wanted to own his own distribution and was killed. if we supposed to be equal why black entertainers can't own there on music? in those same bills all man is created equal right? why women make less in the world today than a man? why overseas & American muslims being targeted as terrorist? why did Reginald Denny in Los Angeles get pulled out his car and was brutally beaten, which was a white man? all men created equal.

Okay America, its that time again my words according to me, well its been debate rather the constitution & the bill of rights is for one or the other. its also clear to me every law made isn't always meant for the masses. You got to know if those wasn't written the way it did , a monarch society would apply. which means we would have kings in the Americas. those were to prevent that from happening. As long as human exist people will always be prejudges and unfairness. sometimes it not just blacks and Spanish being a victim of discrimination but whites are feeling it now. I had a buddy told me recently "hey corey, I try to apply for a dish wash position and was denied and gave it to a Mexican immigrant, I gess being white isn't important anymore". I said wow, its not you its bigger than you think.

Look at the ruckus created by trying to change the 2nd amendment. Even the notion of changing it divides our nation.

While I agree with msharmony that we need to amend some things we should be very careful as to how we do it.

Not only does any amendment need to pertain to current circumstances but it needs to be written in a way that will promote the union of our nation in the future as well.

That is why many amendments have been made and are now defunct because they addressed the current sentiments at the time but gave no consideration to our union in the future after the sentiments changed.

We all feel there should be laws to address our personal wrongs. The laws pertaining to a nation should address all the people of that nation equally. To set a policy for a specific group isolates that group from the nation as a whole. It divides the nation.

We have all these conflicts BECAUSE we are not following the intent of UNION.
We are no longer We The People, we are Me, Me, Me.
We have done this to ourselves.

A change is certainly needed but the change needs to be a reversion to initial concepts of our nation not more clutter and conflict.
Some policies and laws need to be rewritten to remove the division of union.
Others need no revision but need to be heeded.

Our society is so caught up in the ability that we can change things that we fail to see that some thing don't need to be changed.
Just because we can doesn't mean we should.

I am always curious of such claims even from 'friends' EyeAm

How is one 'denied' the position? Does that mean they weren't called for an interview from their application? Does it mean they got the interview but was not chosen from the potential interviewees for the job?

The person claiming it usually hasn't revealed what their actual resume or experience is , how far in the process they got(did they warrant an interview among-st the pool of other applicants) or how they came about the information about the heritage or immigration status of who WAS hired for the job(it would be illegal for HR to share it)

we should be cautious when trying to ascertain the 'reasons' behind decisions,,,because it is such a delicate raciallly oppressive history in the States we are residents of

The Bill Of Rights only enumerates those RIGHTS,it does NOT bestow them!
They are inherent in The People!
