Driving with my left arm in a "soft cast" has been quite an experience. The cast keeps my hand, wrist, and elbow immobile. It is good that i have a car with an automatic transmission. I could not imagine having to shift gears with a broken arm!
Anyway, i guess that i am doing ok with the broken arm except it does limit my movement. I didn't just break my arm, i also tore ligiments as well so physical therapy will b in my future.

A few years ago I hyper-extended my right hand and was in a metal brace from my first knuckles on my fingers to my elbow.....driving like that was so much fun!! I couldn't even put the car in drive without my daughter's halp!!
I know, I know....I shouldn't have been driving but when you have to go to work.... Feel better soon!

Awww, I hope you heal quickly. The only bone I ever broke was my big toe. Ended up on crutches. | |

I broke my arm in 3 places this past June. I was visiting my last girlfriend who lived 650 miles away.
The break was near the shoulder, so no cast could be applied. All I had was a sling and I drove all the way home one armed..... It wasn't a bad drive because most of it was interstate road. My arm is still not healed, and may never be completely healed right.
