as some would know people eat... just about everything under the sun... <- just a expression ... some are very picky about what they eat ... some do not eat meat ... some will only eat meat ... we know some eat different kinds of animals & fish and insects ... some I believe ...well hid ...are cannibals ... some have been known to eat people ... under certain circumstances to survive ... do you have a particular food... you feel you could not live with out ... or what would u eat if you had to survive ... and something you would never eat ... say the delicatessen of monkey brains ... So what do you think ... |

*sigh* such a big post about food...and not a word that mentions pizza's....a pity, to think that humanity has degraded this low~

When o think about eating .. it is not food that comes to mind There are a few women here, I wouldn't mind devouring...Yum.

If SHTF and supplies stop and you are starving you might be surprised at what you will eat.
I study edible plants. I know which mushrooms are poisonous in my region. I know what to look for to find edible roots. While you are raiding the garbage I will be heading for the woods. I also know how to make snares and traps using natural surroundings. My fire will have plenty to eat. |

My fire will have plenty to eat. thats one way to look at it ... into the woods we go I think that is close as my back yard  I have these trees ... like a canopy... believe the deer sleep there at nite... and know the birds love them ... and would make a great tree house ...for camping out ... in summer of course ... |

*sigh* such a big post about food...and not a word that mentions pizza's....a pity, to think that humanity has degraded this low~ really ... now you have got me wanting a white pie ... this has nothing to do with race ... I understand people eat many diffident things... others may not like ... I guess if they had treated a animal more humanly it might make a difference ... but they are so cruel to them ...in slaughter houses especially... some get illegals to work and do it ... becouse they know they will say nothing ...if they want to still work there... I have seen this and unsanitary also ... |

Not to disagree that slaughterhouses are brutal but the word HUMANE always gets me when referring to animals.
Humans are treated humane. Animals are not humans. Animals are treated animalistic. Yes I know what humane treatment of animals means. I'm just saying that the word choice is strange. Its like trying to give animals (or robots) human rights. I understand the implied meaning but the word choice is strange. Only humans can have human rights. |

it's called humane because you treat animals, which are sentient beings, how you would wish to be treated. That isn't entirely true. We treat some animals as we wish to be treated. The ones we deem good. We kill everything else. Rats, snakes, bats, you name it. Some will treat their dogs, cats, birds and fish like humans but cows are treated like cows. Pigs are treated like pigs. Sheep is treated like sheep. "Bacon and eggs" is a contribution from the chicken and a commitment from the pig. Something has to die for humans to eat. Whether it be plant or animal. A pecan pie is made with baby pecan trees. If you have lamb chops you are eating baby sheep. Cereal is made out of wheat or oats or corn...all parts of the reproductive chain of those plants. If I was starving, I would eat dog and cat, damn skippy. |

One thing I will miss will be my butter croissants.
Oh YES, also my olives & anchovies on my fave pizza At present, I hardly shop much at all in supermarket/s. Except for few households items and out of season growing .  I know I will survive, in any condition/s  I got my self-huge plots of veggies, 5 water tanks, chickens, worms, ( Yes, worms patties  ), snails, ( Yes marinated snails ), visiting wild birds for soups, barbeque, stews or with wite cream sauce, berries, and fruit trees, not to mention the famous Aussie Outback Lizards, I preserve also lots of things like my mom did. Fish and yabbies on the local creeks, I can honestly say I have almost everything. As for meat, I can easily live without. I will miss my homemade pork sausages, yes, but that's okay, I will drink my homemade wine instead  I WILL BE RIGHT and I SHALL SURVIVE. |

According to the US Department of Agriculture's annual hunger report, more than 17 million American households don’t have enough food for an active, healthy life.
But in that situation, Water i guess... But ahaha maybe just call pizza shop for delivery(yes they can deliver pizza with drone) ahaha just sharing my thought ahaha |
