Hey all! I'm always on the look out for new fantasy genre books to read, such as the Kingkiller Chronicle, First Law trilogy and Stormlight Archive. Any suggestions or discussions are more than welcome.

Suggestion 1: Put on a shirt.

Suggestion 2: Inheritance Cycle?

Suggestion 3: His Dark Materials

Suggestion 4: Wait for the third book in Kingkiller Chronicles. Rothfuss will finish it one of these years.

i always liked the Shannara series by terry brooks, especially how he looped three different series together...

I liked a few of Brooks' Shannara books but after awhile his style kinda got on my nerves. His head got too big for his pen.

Another author (Science Fiction) David Gerrold also dissappointed me with his rude delay of his Chtorr Wars saga. He refuses to finish and refuses to let anyone else pick up where he slacked off.
The Chtorr series, which tells of an invasion of Earth by an alien ecosystem that transforms the planet, has been on hold since 1993, when the fourth book, A Season for Slaughter, was published. (The first three books, A Matter for Men, A Day For Damnation, and A Rage for Revenge, came out in fairly quick order in the 1980s.) But now, it’s been over 20 years since Gerrold left us with a huge cliffhanger.
