There's different species. The green one can get that big. Usually the ones in captivity, the wild ones tend to get caught and eaten. Not sure which species we have but a couple have gotten huge

Glad you're doing well Yes, this last weekend was the end of the busy season for the summer. It's slowed down just in time for the hurricane Other than the high potential of getting slammed with it in a few days, all is well. The new batch of kittens are getting big, about nine weeks old now. If the storm hits, they will have to be put outside, especially if I have to evacuate or stay in a shelter. Either way, they're getting too big for all three to be in my bedroom, so if I can't find them a home, they'll have to go out doors and risk getting mutilated by the wild cats. I'm probably worrying over nothing, cats have a way of taking care of themselves.
