GreenEyes148,

I'm glad you mentioned Dollar Stores, yes we have them here and we have the 5 below stores too. Here's the kicker, we buy the items cheap but for those who manufacture the items get paid even less...ask Kathy Lee or Martha Stuart...lol.

Hey, I know.. you know and everyone else knows that too.. made in China or India, no secrete.

But that does not stop people from buying the products.. i.e. nobody wants to pay higher prices.

Walk into Wal Marts corp. buying office in Bentonville Ak. And you will see American vendors from EVERY ethnic group trying to sell their cheap made in Asia stuff. Same for Dollar store and every other retail store.

And in reality, nobody really cares about Asia factory workers.. I don't.

GreenEyes148,

Hey you right the Asian manufactures get very little exposure. India as well. Wal Marts as well as E-bay people use those platforms to sell used good for cheap. It has it advantages & disadvantages. when I wear silver jewelry as much as I'm a bling lover but those poor kids in Siera-leone in south Africa picking diamonds damned near free, breaks my heart.

I do believe it is the way PR is handling it. Let me explain why. This mayor is saying they have nothing but the governor praised the administration. There IS aid there but keep in mind this is also after 2 big hurricanes and fires. Governor Ricardo Rosello said the adminstratiin answered every petition and FEMA was in the phone with him all the time to check in. Trump lifted the Jones Act to get the supplies in. So where is the issue? From all I have read, they are being treated like the states

With the supplies, etc, didn't the House just pass a $36.5 billion aid package?

What more do can they do? Remember there was a major hurricane in Houston and the Florida plus the fires. Come on. PR is not a state and he lifted the Jones Act to get them help. IMO it is PR not getting supplies where it is needed.

I see the government and the citizens doing as much for PR as the states

You right, its too bad because Puerto Rico is a lovely island with great culture, food, raggaeton music, salsa music, and one of the prettiest women and beaches you ever see.

I know that. The other places hit are just as wonderful. What more do you think they should do? Are they more special than another? Less special?

As I said....it's a PR issue. The governor said Trump has answered all petitions, donations from other sources coming in, yet this mayor says no water with water right behind her.

I feel this tread is all over the place. I wonder if it is about a water problem, pro or against Puerto Rico being a state.
Funny how Mexican, Asian, India, etc., these other cultures find it's way into a tread not intended for them or it matters.
Each Country have a degree of yin and yang. If people get to experience other Cultures and their way of life, they may be smart enough to visualize that there is lots in common and no one is better than the other. People may stop drinking the jungle juice avoiding ignorance. Wishful thinking.
On my last angle, those that blindly believe in politics with short memory, start learning about the evolution of such, it may help how much weight a observation of one person may add to it. When talking politics, one can be smart or a real blind ignorant.
