Argo63,

I wouldn't call a white man a cracker.....that's not nice! it's certain words are more or less hurtful to many. The n-word, I never use. The Word Cracker, I never use. Now I do have to get better with the B-word.!

YellowRose,

To answer your question where's the parents? can I honestly say, the parents of the youth today, is the parents are younger. The parents partying with there teens & young. The parents are getting high, doing drugs, or bottom-line not interested in there children's music. Now I'm not talking you & my era parents, but the parents today. That's wonderful you monitor your children's entertainment. but the world is different now, the plan again is to brainwash your children to listen to negative rap and the mimic what the see & hear and react. then pow! prison. then the private investors get bank for per inmate.

I don't buy it. My niece is 27. Has a 5, 2 1/2, 17 mos (not her biological child but raises her as her own) and a 13 mos old. She has a good job as a school teacher and her husband has a good job as a welder. She is a good mom and (like me) of her kids want to be a punk, she will deal with it

I don't see anything wrong or any conspiracy in investing in privately run prisons. Investors like to get into new ideas whether that is in technology and even prisons for hopefully financial gain. It costs taxpayers on average about $40,000 per inmate per year. In NY that cost is about $60,000.
Since city and state governments have little to no money for new prisons there is a serious overcrowding issue.
Privately run prisons built by investors save taxpayers money and help the incarcerated by having less overcrowding etc.

As for the Rap issue, I love all kinds of music from classical, Motown, Blues, Rock and Rap(have been to concerts featuring rap artists)but over the last few years seems to me it has been a race to the bottom as far as the lyrics go...but not sure there is any conspiracy to entice the young into crime, rather the artists desire to gain notoriety and fame.

GreenEyes148,

Ms. Harmony is right on the money, certain words is tied to a dark history. the kicker is I hear gay guys & girls call each other the B-words than any straight guy would. Blacks shouldn't use the N word to embrace friends. The N word was a word racist southerners use to oppress a culture. The word " Cracker" was a word blacks use to retaliate against his oppressors. The B- word was created to call whores or hookers, not meant to 2 girls embracing themselves.

YellowRose10,

I like your firm stand on good parenting, but I have to add in the u.s. I grew up in Philly's Spanish ghetto and I seen a lot good families with hard working parents and I seen bad ones too. when kids having kids and making families young some are inexperience as a parent. when you have the new era parents that really don't care to listen to what they kid listens too then you have the beginning misguided kids. then crime then prison.....the secret plan.

laugh that's been going on for a long time. The older generation doesn't get the younger. My grandmother used to tell me how she didn't understand my mom's fashion, dance, music etc. My mom didn't get my generation. We turned out fine

Searchin4MyRedWine,

So I take it you don't mind private investors make money to housed inmates for profit? no judgment here, if you for it , you for it. I want all thoughts of folks to be able to express there views okay, well I certainly can say that is a very lucrative investment. I got to say the most lucrative investments we see make high interest is prison industries & the water industries//......ask T. boone thickets.
